Friends Church Quakers Mombasa Monthly Meeting

We are part of the Nairobi Yearly Meeting that was established in 1987 out of the then East Africa Yearly Meeting (EAYM) South of Friends Church that had its headquarters at Vihiga. EAYM South had earlier been hived off from the larger EAYM whose headquarters was at Kaimosi, in western Kenya. This was at a time when members were agitating for devolution of church functions of the then Yearly Meeting closer to members.

We currently have seven local churches that are under our jurisdiction Namely:

  1. Friends Church Quakers Tononoka
  2. Friends Church Quakers Tudor
  3. Friends Church Quakers Magongo
  4. Friends Church Quakers Kaloleni
  5. Friends Church Quakers Mwatate
  6. Friends Church Quakers Bura
